The Broncos must have emptied their bag of tricks.
On Saturday Boise State's 14-game winning streak ended with a defeat at the hands of Ty Willingham's Huskies, who beat a ranked opponent for the first time since 2003.
Washington's defense denied Bronco's RB Ian Johnson his eighth consecutive 100-yard game and stopped him twice on third and short, forcing QB Taylor Tharp to turn to the air where he was 29-of-47 for 285 yards but three interceptions and a fumble.
John Locker, the Swiss Army Knife for the Huskies, threw the ball 25 times, completing thirteen for 193 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. Locker led on the ground with sixteen carries for 84 yards.
In week one the Huskies traveled 2,800 miles to Syracuse where they thumped the Orange by 30 points.
Beating the Broncos adds fuel to the Huskies' fire. And fire is just what they'll need this weekend against Ohio State.
